Newman has served as a guitarist/keboardist/pianist at Antioch Community Church in Knoxville, TN since 2010, and as a guitarist at Jefferson City Christian Church from 2003 to 2010. With producer Yanic Bercier, Johnny Newman released More Than Ever (2011) and The Great Mistrial (or Go to Dark Gethsemane) (2015); both of which are Christian-themed albums.
While recording for his next album, Newman is eager to share his worship music & testimony through acoustic performances & small concerts. The songs he has written function completely behind an acoustic guitar, will flourish with a band, and will be fully orchestrated in the studio. It would be Johnny’s pleasure to share an evening with you!
